Welcome to New Hope Cat Rescue
Where Compassion Meets Action – For Cats Who Need It Most
At New Hope Cat Rescue, we believe that every cat deserves a chance — the fluffy kitten curled on your lap, the shy stray hiding under a shed, and the scarred old tom who has weathered too many winters alone. Whether friendly, frightened, or forgotten, every cat is equal, and every cat is worthy of love, safety, and respect.
We exist for the cats who have no one else: the abandoned, the stray, the feral, the pregnant mothers, and the kittens born into hardship. Through rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, TNR, and community support, we work to break the cycle of suffering and build a kinder future for Ireland’s cats.

Who We Are
New Hope Cat Rescue is a volunteer‑led organisation powered by people who care deeply about animal welfare. Our team includes experienced TNR trappers, foster carers, adoption coordinators, transport volunteers, and community liaisons — many with over a decade of hands‑on experience in rescue, neutering programmes, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
What We Do
Rescue, Care & Rehoming
We rescue vulnerable cats, provide veterinary treatment and rehabilitation, and place them in loving homes through a structured, ethical adoption process.
TNR & Affordable Neutering
We run humane Trap–Neuter–Return programmes and provide affordable neutering to reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering, and improve the overall welfare of feral and community cats.
Education & Awareness
We run humane Trap–Neuter–Return programmes and provide affordable neutering to reduce overpopulation, prevent suffering, and improve the overall welfare of feral and community cats.
Advice & Support for the Public
We offer practical advice to members of the public about stray, injured, or at‑risk cats, helping people respond safely, compassionately, and responsibly to welfare concerns.
Support for Special‑Needs & Vulnerable Cats
We provide guidance on caring for cats with medical, behavioural, or disability‑related needs, and are committed to finding the most appropriate long‑term home or environment for each individual cat.
Advocacy for Legal Protection
We campaign for stronger laws and clearer protections for all cats in Ireland — owned, stray, or feral — ensuring every cat has the right to safety, dignity, and care.

A Community Of Care
Every one of us has a part to play in creating a kinder future for cats. By fostering, feeding, supporting, or simply spreading awareness, you help build that future — a future where every cat is protected, cared for, and loved.
