🧡The Gift Of Hope

Harry first came to our attention when he was reported straying and unwell, quietly struggling to get by on his own. Life on the streets had taken its toll: his little system was run down from living rough and one too many battles, and his body was crying out for a helping hand.
So we stepped in. Harry was trapped, neutered, and finally given the care he so badly needed. His battle wounds were tended to, but sadly one of his eyes had been injured and infected beyond saving, and the kindest thing we could do was to remove it. Through it all, Harry took everything in his stride — a true gentleman, even on his hardest days.
Harry never did find a home of his own, and for a boy this sweet, that’s the only part of his story we’d change. 💛
But every cloud has its silver lining. Harry has settled beautifully into his foster home, where he’s blossomed into the calm, gentle soul he was always meant to be. Best of all, he’s found a partner in crime in none other than Girly Sue — the two of them are the very best of pals.
He may only have one eye, but Harry sees exactly what matters most: a safe place to rest, a friend by his side, and all the love he could ever hope for.
For those who like to follow Girly Sue’s journey, she is registered with Slaney Veterinary Centre.
